Lazy Sunday

Today was very hot with lots of humidity. I can only imagine what it will be like in the middle of July---gross.

This afternoon, I went for a bike ride in Rock Creek Park to get some exercise and explore the area.

This is a park that cuts up the middle of the District to Maryland. On Saturday and Sundays, the road that goes through the park is closed for people to run, bike, walk, etc. The park is very green, with picnic shelters, trails, and historic sites. The trails are pretty shaded and the creek is spectacular too. I went 20 miles and enjoyed my Sunday afternoon.
